View of Amalfi Coast from Conca dei Marini
From sparkling blue waters to stacked hillsides, the Amalfi Coast of full of natural beauty. Add in the charming structures sprawling with Bougainvillea in every shade of pink you can imagine, and the result is so picturesque that it leaves no doubt why you've seen every blogger on your Instagram feed here at some point.
Positano, Amalfi and Ravello are towns from this trendy coastline you may recognize, but less-populated areas such as Conca dei Marini, Furore and Praiano still have the charm and beauty you are looking to relax in. Take a walk in any of these towns and you'll find the largest, juiciest lemons you'll ever see in your lifetime, which are ultimately turned into their famous limoncello—balanced with the perfect amount of sweet and sour.
Speaking of limoncello, you can take a limoncello tour and learn how to make this liqueur from scratch. We recommend our friend Chef Fiore's lemon tour and limoncello-making lesson at Le Bonta Del Capo, where he finishes the evening with an exceptional three-course meal, complete with top-notch service. Perched atop a hillside, the view is breathtaking.
Once you sleep off your meal, wake up to charter out on the water and visit the island of Capri for the day. You'll be taken across the sea to the Gulf of Naples where your captain will point out the well-known rock formations, caves, and of course, the famous Blue Grotto. As you dock for the day in Capri, take a moment to visit the pebble-laced beach and don't miss an opportunity to jump in the water, which is so cool and salty, that it's rumored to have benefits for your skin and hair.
For this trip, we made sure to pack a few of our favorite items (pictured):
- Peacock Beach Caftan Cover Up by The Blush Label: This caftan is perfect to throw on over a bathing suit, and can also double as a tunic to be worn with a pair of white jeans in the evening.
- Interchangeable Strap Sandals by Cambiami: Do yourself a favor and purchase these now for your next vacation! These sandals have interchangeable straps so you can change out your look without having to pack a million pairs of shoes. We spent most of the vacation in the Cork Metallic Gold Straps.
- Opaline Earrings by Sylvia Benson: Say hello to your statement earrings of the summer! These freshwater pearl earrings go with almost everything and won't weigh your ears down.

Lemons grow large and sweet on the Amalfi Coast due to the rich soil and amount of sunlight from sun up to sun down.
Grotta dello Smeraldo (Emerald Grotto) is located in Conca dei Marini and is lit up naturally from sunlight peaking in below the cave.
